Assessment - LearnLite© LMS

You don't have to be a school or other learning institution to benefit from using the Edutech KM LearnLite© LMS program. It could also benefit small service providers in the community who want a quick method of testing knowledge and recording that level of understanding.

Community health providers who want to record the training that their employees complete, or to provide it online themselves, can start off with the LearnLite© Learning Management System and upgrade to a more sophisticated system as they can afford it.

How it works

This simple system allows you to link in learning from any source and manages the learners' assessment.

The assessment is built from a database of multi-choice questions that have been created for a number of categories. Each category has several questions, with each question worded slightly differently, but eliciting proof of knowledge of the same key factor.

When learners register for the assessment they are presented with a range of questions pulled randomly from the pool of questions in each category. These are automatically marked and the results are stored in the database.

Tutors can create the questions

The tutor or administrator inputs the questions to ensure the learners are tested on exactly what they need to know. Even if the assessment is not linked to a unit of learning employees can be pre-tested on their level of knowledge and whether they need to go on a course.

This is a great test of prior knowledge and one that can save companies from wasting many dollars in unnecessarily training an employee in what they already know.

Why plan for
a disaster that
may never
come ?

"The move to on-line and computer based assessment is a natural outcome of the increasing use of information and communication technologies to enhance learning. As more students seek flexibility in their courses, it seems inevitable there will be growing expectations for flexible assessment as well."
