Print resources - Learner analysis When we talk about print learning and training projects, we tend to think about training manuals; but print learning also includes face-to-face courses where the learner and tutor resources are delivered in a print form. Inevitably these will be linked with some form of digital delivery, such as PowerPoint, or an OHP. Edutech KM staff have skills in developing resources for all of these modes of delivery. Analyse the learnersBefore you start any learning or training programme the first step is to analyse the learners.
When Edutech KM starts on a project we like to talk to the people who will be doing the learning. Their feedback shapes the way we present information and design the activities. As we design a face-to-face learning session we have to bear these learning styles in mind. Ignore them and the tutor will quickly sense a loss of attention. A course will be peppered with pauses for discussion, learner feedback, group activities, and presentations that takes care of the base learning styles of visual, auditory and kinesthetic, but you have to take another step and look at what level of understanding and learning you are aiming for. Edutech KM educational designers can discuss your requirements and help you design a course that achieves deep learning for all attendees. Click here to make an enquiry, or email us here.
