Print resources - Memory joggers
Not all information needs to be committed to memory. The most efficient people remember only where to look for the information.
Print-based memory joggers can include:
- Summaries of procedures in pocket-sized laminated card
- Flip page pocket books
- Desktop 'calendars' that include different key information on each page
- Wall posters
- Stick-it notes
- Magnetic reminder notes
- Memos with random reminders
- Printed messages on pay slips
The aim is not to tell the whole story, but to give enough key information for the operator or employee to recall the rest. The option you choose will suit the environment they are designed for.
