The needs of manufacturing organisations

Top priorities for manufacturing clients are the maintenance of productivity and the avoidance of accidents.

Health & Safety compliance

Health & Safety compliance is a key target for industry. It can be a costly experience if an accident occurs and it is shown that the company has failed to address a Health & Safety issue. Accidents also disrupt production and drive down productivity and company morale.

Consistent production

If the issue you want to resolve is one of variable quality, an intranet can play a big part in increasing profitability. When production is left to operators making adjustments to see if things improve, then product consistency will fall. Each shift will have a different idea on how to set the machine and will change it. By delivering clear procedures over an intranet production should be standardised.

The question really is: "How do we deliver those standardised procedures to operators so they take ownership of them?"

How we can help

That's where our expertise and experience comes into its own. We gather information from a variety of sources, such as vendors, existing training material and from the inside the 'heads' of operators to create easy-to-follow procedures and learning material.

Our staff do not have 'them/us' history with your operators and so do not face the same resistance when gathering or sharing information. We can help shape your training and information delivery systems to meet operators' needs. That way you get staff buy-in to a continuous cycle of improvement.
